“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3: 16-17.
Dear Friends of Agape:
Thank you for sharing and partnering with us through this ministry. Thank you for your dependability, your responsibility and your accountability with us. I am personally grateful and thankful for each and every donor and your investment into this Kingdom ministry.
As we move into fall, we have much to be thankful for. The Lord is blessing Agape Flights and our missionary partners in a number of exciting ways:
Help for Port-au-Prince: More than $50,000 in grants, the last of the $750,000 from Agape’s Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund, will soon be awarded to several of our missionary partners in Port-au-Prince meeting long-term needs of people still reeling from the effects of the 2010 earthquake.
Intern welcomed: Agape is blessed with the arrival of Taylor Nageli, the son of missionaries Buck and Joanne Nageli. Taylor is serving an eight-week internship with us in Venice, Fla., after earning a degree in Missionary Aviation Technology from Moody Bible Institute’s facility in Spokane, Wash. He’s learning the ropes of aviation ministry and is a welcome addition to the Agape family.
A time for renewal: September is also the time of year when our missionary partners renew their memberships for the upcoming fiscal year. It’s an inspiring reminder of just how much God is accomplishing throughout the Caribbean.
Spreading holiday cheer: Every year at this time we begin asking for your help in providing the Agape Flights Missionary Affiliates family with a Thanksgiving meal along with the trimmings. An $80 gift helps us show a missionary family how much we appreciate what they do.
Help for medical missions: Our partnership with Caring Partners International and Boca Grande United Methodist Church is providing much-needed supplies to our medical missions. As this is being written, wish lists from our missionaries are being fulfilled and will soon be airlifted to our missions in the field.
Preparing the budget: The Agape Flights staff is preparing the ministry’s budget for the upcoming fiscal year. It is a time when we prayerfully seek the will of Christ as we serve Him by serving his missionaries.
There would not be a budget without you, the donors who help make this ministry possible. We give thanks each day for you and ask that you will continue to support the mission of Agape Flights, with your prayers and your generous financial donations.
We pledge to be good and faithful stewards of the gifts given to us in order that the vision of Agape Flights can be sustained for years to come.
Called to serve,
Allen T. Speer, CEO of Agape Flights
