Adopt
.
. . a
Missionary Family
Would you like to:
-
get to know a missionary family,
- encourage them, and
- bless them with prayers and gifts?
If
you answered “Yes,” we invite you to join
Agape Flights’ Adopt a Missionary Family Project now
This
program is designed to be fun for everyone.
Your commitment would be:
Send a “Care Package” three or four times a year. (We’ll
provide a list of items your missionary family misses that are
unavailable or very expensive in their country.)
Pack
a box with items from their list and add a note of
encouragement.
Send the box to their address at Agape Flights along with a
donation of $3 a pound to help with our delivery cost.
Pray regularly for “your” family members.
Just
in case you’re wondering if this is something a missionary
family would like, take a look at the response we received from
one family after inquiring if they’d be interested in a
program like this:
YES!
Cool! Praise God! Whee! Yippe! Fantastic! Thank-you! Yahoo! PTL!
Wow! Amen! Amazing! In other words, YES!!
We would LOVE to take part of any kind of care package program!!
Sounds wonderful, amazing and very, very encouraging!!

First Baptist Bradenton
Youth Mission Team

Seven students and three leaders left Sarasota early Monday morning, March 28, headed for Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Within 24 hours, they learned about improvising on the mission field, walked the streets of a barrio inviting Dominicans to view a Christian movie, led the group in singing and gave their testimony in Spanish, and experienced the joy of seeing 25 people pray the sinners' prayer as they accepted Jesus as their personal Savior! And that was just the first night.
By the end of the week, more than 500 men, women and children had
made first-time professions of faith in Jesus. The students
witnessed on the street, in schools and in churches. To God be the
Glory!

Haiti is different from every other country in the Western Hemisphere. Its images of poverty and violence spill over into our newspapers and its immigrants flee to our shores. Vicious cycles of tyranny, corruption, poverty and anarchy have defined its history since the country was dedicated to Satan 200 years ago.
Although many Haitians associate that dedication with their emancipation from slavery, it actually subjected them to an even more cruel tyranny — the hopelessness of Voodoo and satanic influence.
Today, in the aftermath of yet another
rebellion and a disastrous flood, Christians in Haiti are hoping and praying that the Holy Spirit will reclaim the country for Jesus. They’re doing this by reaching men, women and children, one by one.
